batman writes "Mix twenty (20) parts water to one (1) part white cane sugar. Boil the water for several minutes before adding sugar. Let water cool before filling feeder. Be sure to clean the feeder with hot tap water and change nectar mix every three to four days.
You can store excess nectar mix in the refrigerator for about two weeks.
